Dr. Finnerty received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and his Urology specialty training at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He served as Chief of Urology at General Leonard Wood Hospital at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He has been in private practice in the Pacific Northwest since 1983. He is board certified in Urology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
He lives in the Tacoma area with his wife of over 30 years and three children.
